Frequently asked questions…
How long are the treatments?
Our treatment plans typically last 90 days. They are divided up into 6 phases, 15 days each.
What is included in the treatment plan?
A personalized meal calendar, weekly grocery list, recommended water intake schedule, herbal remedy and natural juice recipes, Brain Gym® movement coaching, as well as coaching for the rest of the treatment as well.
What will my wellness coach do?
As part of your treatment plan, you will meet with a trained wellness coach (likely via video conference) every 15 days. The session will typically be an hour long. Scheduling is flexible. Your coach will go over your next treatment phase with you, answer questions, share helpful suggestions, help motivate you, and teach you Brain Gym® relaxation techniques. You will also be able to message your coach at any time and they will get back to you as soon as possible.
How much does it cost?
Typically, our rate is $75 USD per treatment phase. Since there are 6 phases in all, this comes out to a total of $450 USD. We have various payment plan options and even promotional discounts available. Schedule a free phone consultation now to learn more.
What languages are your services available in?
Our treatment plans and coaching are available in English, Spanish, and Japanese. If you need services in any language other than these, it may be best to have a bilingual family member or friend assist you.
Should I stop taking my medications?
That is a personal decision best made between you, your doctor, and your own research. Some medications may have adverse effects if discontinued suddenly, and should be tapered off under a doctor’s supervision. That being said, one must wonder why medications have side effects. While suppressing one symptom, why is it causing these other ones? Many patients have the goal to get off their medications eventually, once they are healthy enough to do so. If this is your goal, you may choose to discuss this goal with your doctor. Likely, as you progress further into your natural treatment plan, your doctor may notice that your particular health problem(s) are improving and may recommend discontinuing your medications. Since wellness coaches are not licensed physicians, we cannot prescribe or discontinue medications for anyone.
Can you give diagnoses?
No. Our wellness coaches are not licensed physicians. Therefore, attempting to diagnose illnesses would not only get us into serious legal trouble, but can also be potentially dangerous. Our intake questionnaires will ask you what diagnoses your doctor has already given you, and our treatment plan will focus on strengthening the body’s innate ability to heal itself and stay healthy. Even in conventional medicine, doctors will ultimately rely on the body to perform its innate self-repairing processes.
What if my treatment plan tells me to eat something that my doctor advises against?
While rare, this can happen. At the end of the day though, it is up to the patient to decide what or what not to put into their mouth. This is where common sense and your own research come into play. We must face the reality that even within the medical community, there are often differences of opinion. No human can fully understand what they did not create. It is still the patient’s responsibility to ask questions, do their own research from reputable sources, and learn to “listen” to their body. A few foods (if eaten in very high amounts) can potentially alter the effects of certain medications. However, this is not the case with most foods. It should be noted that the importance of food choices is often overlooked (or even distorted) in conventional medicine. For example, a doctor may advise against drinking grapefruit juice (which can, in fact, alter the concentration of some types of drugs in the body). But they may not emphasize just how important it is to avoid refined carbs and sugars. Instead, they will likely emphasize medication, chemotherapy, surgery, etc. which, to be fair, can be very effective in preventing premature death.. But what about the root of the problem- diet and lifestyle choices? What is served in the hospital cafeteria and brought straight to the patient’s bed? Likely, bread made from refined white flour and “juice” containing high fructose corn syrup. Are not these the foods that caused the health problems in the first place? Natural Hacks is here to help you make choices that help, not harm, the body in the long run.
